Goodbye

Today I must leave you

and go to the sea

The day has come for me to be free

Here among the waves

My endless sleep is found

Beneath these deep waters

I will slip away without a sound

This will be my final resting place

Know that I leave with a smile on my face

I will not call out

For I do this without doubt

No longer on land will I feel I must roam

Finally, I feel that I have come home
