Bitten by Donna Harrison Poem

Spoken with a whisper
My destiny written with yours
Like the gasp of a sweet surrender
I feel the heat within your words

Spawned from true desire
Bitten like two vampires in the night
If passion fuels the fire
Please burn me with your love

Do not be afraid of pain and hunger
I did not fly between earth and sky
To be bitten by the wild spark blazing
Of your wickedness that trembles deep inside

Should I risk to be bitten
Your poison shall forever inhabit my heart
Love is never an illusion,
Its made to banish the madness and to heal the scars

Give me your kiss and I will forgive you
Consume me with your light til I can no longer breathe
Convince me that love is real, for I have been bitten
Shake me until I come alive
